My
work experience at Infosys helped me develop technical and
interpersonal skills. I was involved in two major projects for a
fortune 500 client where I was a core member of the development team.
The projects involved architecting several back end and front end
changes to proprietary software applications using Java, SQL, JSP and
Servlets.
Apart
from gaining technical competence, I have striven to become a
well-rounded software engineer. My work and educational experience
has helped me build attributes such as –
-Team Player and Effective Communicator: Working in cross functional and geographically diverse teams honed my communication skills to effectively communicate project progress and meet deadlines.
-Quick Learner: At Infosys, I worked closely with the Subject Matter Expert’s (SME) of the software applications that I handled, to quickly build my technical knowledge.
-Multi-Tasking:Methodical with attention to detail and ability to multi-task to handle multiple projects effectively
At
SJSU, I am focused on equipping myself with fundamentals of key
technologies such as Big Data, Cloud Computing, Information Security etc. that
will help me achieve my ambitions of being a highly successful
Software engineer..
My
technical skills and expertise include:
-C,
Java , SQL, JSP, Cryptography and HTML.
Hi Swapna,
ReplyDeleteI found that your goals are clear. From reading your blog, I can see that your goal is to increase your skills and knowledge in Big Data, Cloud Computing, Information security, etc. by getting a Masters in Computer Science at San Jose State University.
I think that your knowledge, skills, and abilities are clear in your summary. I liked how you made bold bullet points to show your essential, highlighted qualities, such as leadership and owning responsibilities, team player and effective communicator skills, quick learning skills, and multi-tasking skills.
I think your summary was complete. You broke up your skills into a list to make it easier to read, you focused on specific examples to support your skills, you tailored it to a professional setting, your summary sounded enthusiastic, you made the summary personal by writing in first person, and you included her specific goals. However, I think you can improve on your summary by adding contact information and testimonials from your superiors or coworkers.
